It was a wonderful weekend away. I had an amazing time. Then, late Sunday evening I arrived back to my house only to find out that my boys… my wonderful happy boys, had a whole lot of fun this weekend. And they left the proof in my main bathroom.
GAH! There were clothes everywhere, it looked like the toothpaste had exploded and I really think they need to work on their aim, YUCK! Thankfully, Monday in my world is floor scrubbing day, and it was the perfect opportunity to try out the Vileda EasyWring Spin Mop that arrived on my door step last week.
This morning I woke up, sent those wonderful boys off to school. Filled myself full of coffee, then dove into my bathroom. Now, I try to be a smart cleaner. I start at the top and work my way down. So down came the curtains, I wiped down the walls. All the porcelain was cleaned… crown molding and trim all dusted as well. Last, but not least, mop the floor!
Now, I must admit – scrubbing floors and laundry are the two chores on my to-do list that I look forward to the least, but I love it when they’re finished. So, trying out EasyWring really excited me (even my mother has been singing its praises for a while now). Maybe I could like scrubbing floors a bit more? BUT, I still had to scrub the floors, right?
Amazing! Let me tell you the difference between using an old-school cotton mop, which was my norm, and the Vileda EasyWring Spin Mop. The first difference, MY HANDS STAYED DRY! Not a drop of water touched my fingers throughout the entire mopping process. I did not have to stick my hands on a dirty mop to wring out the water. Instantly in love with this.
Next best thing – because of the design of the mop head, there is depth to it, so when I mopped around the walls, the mop took care of the dust that had settled on the quarter round molding. One complete step of my cleaning process GONE!
Corners (and getting in behind my toilet) was a breeze. Since the head of the mop is a triangle, it can get into all those 90 degree corners!
I worked my way out of the bathroom and right down the stairs without stopping. Since the mop bucket fit perfectly on my stairs, it was easy to do. I didn’t have to go up, or down the stairs to soak my mop, or wring it out.
Ultimately, I love this mop. My old cotton topped mop is retiring and the new Vileda Spin Mop is taking over. I highly recommend that you check out your local shopping center to pick one up today.
Remember, dry hands!
