Powering Imaginations all Christmas Long. #PowerImagination

Discliamer: We have partnered with Duracell to bring you the following information. All opinions are my own.

Our kids wake up Christmas morning, circle around the tree and one by one are handed their beautifully wrapped gifts. It’s the one day of the year that children long for…Christmas. They have been well behaved, even if only for a day or two. They have written their lists to SANTA and now is the moment of truth…will SANTA deliver?

They unwrap their gifts and their eyes light up with delight. They got the toys they asked for… only… they’re powerless.  Batteries not included!  Oh no!

No child has the patients to wait until the stores open to get  batteries… and as parents… we really don’t want to deal with upset children (nor do we want to steal the batteries from all the remotes in the house).

So before Christmas arrives, and yes there is still lots of time, head to Walmart and pick up the Duracell batteries that you’ll need to power your kids imaginations.

Did you know that this is the 10th year in a row that Duracell will be donating a year supply of batteries to hospital playrooms across the country to power smiles this holiday season and beyond.  An amazing gift to help kids who may not be spending Christmas at home, but in hospital.   You see, Duracell believes in powering the imagination of sick children by helping to ensure kids can still be kids, and enjoy the magic of the season even in the midst of illness.  So when they open their gifts, there will be batteries turn the magic on. And keep them going all year.

In addition to their annual battery donation to children’s hospitals across the country, Duracell has also made it super easy for Canadians everywhere to get involved. All you have to do is purchase a pack of Duracell batteries at Walmart starting now until the end of December and they will donate to Children’s Miracle Network. It’s really that simple. The goal is to raise $150,000.

So… do you have all the batteries YOU need for Sunday morning?
