The holidays and sweets go hand and hand. I have already enjoyed my first slice of Mince Meat Pie, and our annual cookie exchange is just two days away. I enjoy all the wonderful flavours of the holiday season, and so does the rest of my family. Now, each year, around this time, Corey makes some delicious Peanut Butter & Chocolate Snowballs … but life has been busy this year, and he hasn’t found the time to make them yet. So, knowing I had a cookie exchange coming I thought making Peanut Butter and Chocolate Fudge would be the perfect filler until he makes our favorite sweet treat. There are lots of mouthwatering chocolate and peanut butter recipes to choose from on the Kraft Canada website.
What I like best about this recipe is that I always have all the ingredients in my home. No need to plan ahead or rush to the store for that missing piece to the recipe puzzle. And I can make it in the morning, and it’s ready to go by lunch time!
What You Need:
- 1Cup Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter
- 9oz Bakers Semi Sweet Chocolate
- 1Can (300mL) Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1tsp Vanilla
How To Make It:
In a medium sauce pot, heat over medium to high heat, 1/2 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk with 2 Cups of sugar, stir until it boils. Add vanilla and peanut butter… stir until smooth and remove from heat. Pour into a prepared 8″X8″ square pan lined with parchment.
Then, bring a pot of water to a boil, place a stainless steel bowl on top (or use a double boiler). Add remaining 3/4 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk and 8oz chocolate. Stir until melted and uniform. Smooth over top of peanut butter mixture.
Allow to cool in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Cut into desired size and enjoy!
