If Only I Had Play, Stow ‘N Go from PLAYSKOOL When My Kids Were Young

All Day Elmo (2)My kids are older now.  William will be six in December and his brother Ben is nearly 11. With time, the gear they lug around with them has shrunk considerably…and usually features a touch screen.  When they were small, it was a completely different story.

Ben was born in the spring.  I was 25 and although I enjoyed my maternity leave, I wanted nothing to do with staying home.  My little guy and I would visit family, go shopping and not build the routine that everyone said I must do… They were right, but that’s another story.

Each morning I would get up with baby and get ready as my husband got ready for work.  Since we only had one car, I would drop him off and run the roads until his shift was over.  Each stop at a friend’s house required not one trip in from the car, but two.  Why?  Baby stuff.

We couldn’t leave home without these things;  I had to have toys and chairs and stuff to keep Ben occupied. I remember being worn out carrying things in and out of the car all the time.

Play, Stow ‘N Go from PLAYSKOOL

Fold N Go Elephant (4)I wish we had had these toys back when my boys were little.  It would have made all my travel so much easier. They collapse to only take up a small space, making it simple to stow them away in a diaper bag or the basket of a stroller.  Some items can transform from 18” tall to less than an inch, and will even fit into jacket pockets. The thing is, even with these new, compactable features, they still offer the same sensory play that Playskool has always provided – a quality play experience just about anywhere…at any time!

The Play, Stow & Go Elephant is a perfect example of the ingenuity behind the Play, Stow & Go toys. It is perfect for tummy time. Just set it out on the floor and let baby play with all her features. There are many different textures for your baby to feel and explore.  But when play time is over, just open up the Velcro behind elephant’s ears and easily tuck away her body.  Quickly the Play, Stow & Go Elephant can be stashed away for travel.

The Play, Stow & Go Elephant is suggested for babies 3 months and older.Stack N Stow Cups (3)

Equally as impressive is the Play, Stow & Go Stack’n Cups. The adorable little lion flower opens up into a stacking toy with seven cups!  Each of the seven cups is a different colour, and has different shapes featured on every petal.  Pull this toy out at any restaurant -for an easy way to occupy baby.  Then stash it away quickly when dinner comes.

The Play, Stow & Go Stack ‘n Cups are suggested for babies 9 months and older.

The new Play All Day Elmo from PLAYSKOOL is a multi-use toy that will grow with your toddler.  Little ones already know and love watching Elmo and now they get to play with him too!  The Play All Day Elmo is a cuddly toy that will easily become your little one’s best friend, and he’s interactive too! Elmo includes eight games and activities with more than 150 responses to help keep kids engaged. Play All Day Elmo offers two modes of play – toddler and preschool – offering different levels of play for each age group. For the little ones, basic cause-and-effect play will help them learn and keep them entertained. They can tickle Elmo or squeeze his nose to see how Elmo will respond. Preschool offers games like “Red Light, Green Light”, “Pat-a-Cake”, “Freeze Dance” and more! When play time is over, and nap time is here – Elmo will play a soft lullaby for your little one to rest or fall asleep to.

The Play All Day Elmo is suggested for children 18 months and older.  (But even my I’m-too-big-for-baby-toys 6-year-old loved a squeeze from Elmo.)
