Easter Made Easy at Walmart with Flipp!

In my list of top 10 favorite holidays, Easter comes in a quick second, right behind good ole Christmas.  We get to enjoy a bit of holiday magic known to us as Mr. Hoppity himself, the Easter Bunny as he leaves small spring inspired gifts (and chocolate) for our kids. Just like Santa, the Easter Bunny needs a bit of help when he’s building those shopping lists.  Even a little help picking up things here and there.  I mean…there is still a lot of snow for him to hop through…and he has to carry a bike with training wheels through ice and slush!

So, being the good helper that I am.  I agreed to help out with the Easter shopping.  My first (and only!) stop, Walmart of course!

Now, there was a bit of prep before I headed out to shop.  I pulled out my phone and opened my newly updated my Flipp app to the new, Flipp 2.0.  Then I pulled up my Walmart flyers and started building my shopping list.

Now I, err…I mean the Easter Bunny… has three little ones to shop for.  My two boys who are 9 and 5, and their cousin who is 1.  So the toy section of the flyer was my first stop.

I noticed immediately that rubber boots are on sale. Rubber boots are a MUST during a Nova Scotia spring, as we get more rain than we had snow in the winter. Well… maybe not THIS winter, but usually. The kids (and me) all need new boots this year! I love it when things we need line up with fab sales and a holiday!

Now Easter gifts usually include things the kids can play with outside, like Crayola Sidewalk Chalk, new soccer balls.  Plus a few things they can play with inside when those April showers are…well… showering.  Lego, board games, Hotwheels.  That’s the cool thing about Walmart.  They have all the top brands, perfect for any gift giving occasion.  I put all my must haves into my shopping list, and my groceries too, then off I went.  Shopping kid free!

I was in the store for less than 10 minutes, and my cart was already full of great gifts for Easter. The Flipp app truly is a shoppers best friend.  I hit the fresh produce isle then off to the check out! No fuss..no muss.  And all for under a hundred bucks!

That’s a holiday made easy.
