3 meals a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That’s 1092 meals that parents have to come up with in the run of a year. Feeding our kids foods that are nutritious, delicious, and not super boring shouldn’t be that difficult! But as kids grow, their likes and dislikes change…one day they like peas, the next day they’ve sworn them off for life. Today they cannot stand the sight of cooked tomatoes…tomorrow they’re eating lasagna like it’s going out of style. Is there ever an easy answer to that daily question..”What’s for dinner?”
It is easy to fall into the routine of making the same ol’meals week in and week out. They may be tried and true, but those recipes get old, and need to be revamped every once in a while. Trying new foods, new recipes and pushing your limits in the kitchen is fun! Especially if clean up is on the kids chore list for the week.
