Valentine’s Day Fun for Preschoolers.

If you have little ones around the house…kids who aren’t yet in school, they may be a little confused with this whole Valentine’s Day thing.  They don’t really understand why we should show our love more on this one day, than on any other…and quiet honestly they may be right…  Love Everyday, not just on Valentine’s Day.

But, it’s still fun to spread some extra lovin…especially to the littlest ones who miss out on the Valentine’s Exchange and the classroom parties.   And Disney Junior is there to help.

When you head over to the Disney Junior website, with a little help from you, your preschoolers can decorate their very own e-card…then you can send it along to all the friends and family, save it, or print it out!  Gifts from the little ones are always the best…they truly come from the heart!

Disney Junior Valentine

Thursday morning you can catch all the newest episodes of your kids favorite shows!  At 7:30am and 5:10pm (EST) you can catch the latest episodes of Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Handy Manny!  So be sure to set your DVR so you don’t miss out on the excitement during that school morning rush or dinner time!

Valentine’s Day isn’t the only excitement going on this month.

Disney Junior is also welcoming its newest series!  Banana’s In Pajamas!!  …..Banana’s, in pajamas, are coming down the stairs….banana’s, in pajamas, are coming down the stairs… **Flashback** And you’re welcome, you’ll be singing that song all evening!

Beginning Monday February 18th at 7pm EST, you’ll be able to catch these twins in some brand new episodes!  And why not throw your own pajama party!

Throw Your Own Pajama Party!

If you’re looking for a way to sneak some epic family fun into your week…why not make Friday Nights Pajama nights!  Have it be a weekly tradition.  While the kids are still little, and you can still wrestle them into footie PJ’s why not make some memories!

It is a fun way to end the work/school week, and come together as a family… No need to worry about what’s for dinner…have this be the day you order pizza, or pick up Chinese.  Then get the entire family get into their most snuggest PJ’s.  Set dinner out buffet style on the coffee table, pop some popcorn, grab some movies, and kick off the night with Banana’s in Pajamas!  The kids will think you are the coolest parents on the planet!

You could even instigate a pillow fight!

If you have a sofa with a pull out bed…this is the time to pull it out!

How ever you enjoy February, I hope it’s filled with lots of love, hugs and family.

  1. YOu always have such great ideas! What a wonderful way to celebrate. :-)

  2. Fun!! I love the idea of a weekly pj party! Once in a while, we would do a camp out out night were we pull out our sleeping bags and all sleep on the living room floor and have hot dogs on a stick and treat it like camping minus the fire.

My husband and I had a couple of grandkids around for Valentine’s Day and we cuddled up on the couch with them and watched some great Disney movies! Nothing beter!

  4. I love your pajama party idea. Nothing better then cuddle time :-)

  5. My 2 year old just saw V Day as an excuse to make cards and crafts. :D

  6. Cute ideas, nothing is better than a PJ party!

  7. That does look like a fun activity to do with the kiddos!
