Dirty Hands – Lysol Giveaway!

15 Flares 15 Flares ×

Every time I open the back door I hear two words out of my toddler…”Play dirt?”  It’s all he ever wants to do any more.  Rain or shine he wants to get down on his hands and knees and play with his trucks (ahem…mighty machines) in the dirt.  It is so fun to watch him getting dirty…but frustrating too.  When we are leaving the house  to go…well, anywhere….I have to make sure to have a change of close handy, ’cause If he happens to get away from me – he drops down into the dirt faster than you can say “Don’t get in the dirt!!!”

Kids Get Dirty

It is just a fact of life, when you are a parent you deal with a lot of grime…a lot of dirt.  And a whole lot of mess.  I cannot count  just how many times a day I have to wash my toddler’s hands.  It seems like he always has a hand in something, or a finger up something, kids are kinda gross…but in an “I’ll still love you” way.

I was changing my youngest son, he was a newborn at the time and my oldest who was 2 at the time, was too quiet. I went and checked and in the 2-3 minutes I had been gone, he had gotten into the Vaseline and had it smeared all over himself and my bathroom wall. The worst is getting it out of hair! Ugh.
