Back To School with Sharpie {Giveaway}
When I was a kid, I loved everything about going back to school. The new beginning, new teachers, new projects, and the new stuff! My mother intentionally waited to take us Back To School shopping until at least 2 weeks before school began, just because she knew there was no way I could leave all my new things alone for very long.
My favorite thing to do before that first day was get my binders ready. I would open my packages of loose leaf and dividers, markers and pens, and with a Sharpie, I always labelled the side of my binder with the subject I had allotted that color to belong to. I was always a bit of an organizational nut…not something I carried though to my adult hood unfortunately.
Throughout the school year I always made sure to keep a Sharpie on hand. In the plastic pocket of my binders, and one was always tucked away in my backpack somewhere…reason? Doodling. I was a doodler. My binder hardly made it though the first month of school without a mark…usually something without any rhyme or reason, and by the end of the school year my binder was no longer the solid color as it was when purchased, but had become a work of Sharpie art.
This Back To School season, Sharpie has provided us doodlers a new toy…or should I say, a new tool. Let me introduce you to the Sharpie Brush Tip Markers.
The Sharpie Brush Tip marker is all about self expression. Whether your a crafter, a painter, a student, or an artist, the Sharpie brush tips will always give you the tip that you need. A light hand will give you a fine line, perfect for outlines or intricate doodles, add some pressure and your line thickens, filling in and making bold lines.
Available at Walmart, Staples and Real Canadian Super Stores (among other places) these markers are a must add to your Back To School shopping list. They can be purchased individually ( in colors like lime and berry) in 4 or in 8 packs.
Sharpie provided me with some of their new Brush Tip Markers so I could bring out my inner child, and get back to the doodles I left behind with high school. They even provided me with a canvas to express myself on ( I think they know I’m a mom, my canvas was a
coffee cup). I have to tell you I was completely impressed with these markers! The colors were so vibrant that they showed up quite well on the clay cup that was sent to me. I thought they would be slightly muted because clay is so porous…but these markers held their own! Check it out for yourself!
Ok, so my doodling skill aren’t what they used to be…but I think I did ok!
I have a Sharpie Prize Pack featuring the NEW Sharpie Brush Tip Markers valued at $50 to give to one of my Canadian A Busy Mommy Readers. To enter, just follow the directions below!

My favorite part of back to school is shopping for supplies
Love when they get home from shopping and go thru what they have and get their notebooks and bookbags together. Sometimes they go back thru the bookbags a few more times. All the new stuff makes them smile so big.
