Yesterday I had an hour to spare…well, not really. But I had an hour between picking up Ben from school and taking William to the doctor. I really dislike time like this…to me it feels, wasted. I could have gone home from school, run around the house for 40 minutes then pack the boys back up in the car to head to the doctors office. Way too much work.
So instead, I was just going to grab a coffee and park somewhere for a bit, before heading to the waiting room. With coffee in hand, I made my way close to the doctors office…as I was driving, I saw a sign that I see everyday…the Research Station. It’s a place in Kentville that has beautiful plant life growing, and everything is starting to bud.
It has big, open fields, trees, logs, flowers and plants. It’s the perfect place to spend a few spare minutes if you have them. I took the opportunity to let the boys stretch their legs, and enjoy some outdoor fun. And they enjoyed it, immensely.
And every once in a while, when you do something out of the blue, your kids will return the favour by giving you a great shot!
