There are few companies out there that truly know Christmas. Companies that provide us with products that help us let people know how special they are. When we’re at a loss for words, Hallmark is there to fill in the blanks. Every year, at about this time, I steal a few minutes for myself and head out to my local Hallmark store. I find myself getting lost in the treasures, imagining the smiles of my friends and family, when they open that special gift i picked out just for them. This year is no different. Hallmark has so many beautiful gifts, decorations and cards to help us spread seasonal greetings, and I was thrilled when they agreed to share some of them with me, and with you.
I wish you could have seen my face light up when this guy jumped out of the box of treasures I received. Dancing Frosty The Snowman has to be my very favorite decoration this year. My family will tell you that Snowmen are a big part of my holiday decor, I have so many that I love to display, a collection that I treasure, and will add to forever. Hallmark’s Dancing Frosty The Snowman fit right in, and he has found a home on the top shelf of my cupboard, only to be brought down once in a while. I like to keep these things special!
I think William likes him just as much as I do!
Hallmark also sent me a Tinkerbell Christmas Tree Ornament. She’s exquisite! And she fits in perfectly as our Christmas has a Disney focus! Don’t tell the boys, but 4 days after Christmas we’re heading off to Disney World! This dainty yet gorgeous decoration will forever have a permanent home on my tree, and she actually help me in my decision for our newest family tradition. From this year on, I will be giving my boys a special decoration of their own. As they grow older, the decorations will change, they will be a reflection of their past years interests. Since Disney is our theme this year, they’re each getting a Hallmark Disney Character. For Ben I’ve chosen the Woody&Buzz ornament. Two of his very favorite Disney Characters. And for William, he’ll be getting Mickey Mouse. You can see all of this years Hallmark Ornaments in the 2010 Dream Book.
Of course, I couldn’t write about Hallmark without mentioning their cards! They sent me a super hilarious card that makes both my kids and I giggle! On the front, it asks If you know why Santa is always laughing, when you open the card it says “Because Santa knows what your getting!” Then it chatters and laughs, all in hilarious voices. You can even go online and see even more of the greeting. It’s a perfect card for any children or funny people in your lives. But, no matter who it is your sending cards to, you can rest assured that you’ll find the perfect one with Hallmark.
Remember way, way up when I said they’re sharing with me AND you?
