Musical Gear Center from Playskool – Enter To Win!
Chances are if you have children, you have toys. Most likely, an abundance of them. My house looks similar to a preschool or playgroup. The amount of toys we have really is ridiculous. But most of them belonged to Ben. William, being our second child naturally inherits most of the hand me downs. Since we didn’t keep a lot of Ben’s baby clothes, Wil is lucky to get new clothes, but when it comes to toys, he’s pretty much out of luck.
That gives me a slight twinge of guilt.
Every kid should have things that are just for him or her. Sharing is always encouraged, of course. But knowing something is “mine” is a good feeling, no matter what the age. So, two weeks ago when we received the Playskool Explore ‘n Grow Musical Gear Center to review, I was thrilled. Not only do we love Playskool, but a toy just for William, Yay!!
So far, Wil loves it. With his 9 month old short attention span, it’s perfect. The songs are short, but entertaining. He loves to ‘dance’ to them. Included with the toy is 5 movable gears and two balls. The balls sit on top and go through the tunnel, onto the tray that spins when the button is pushed. When not in use, the balls can go into the two wholes in front, so they’re not lost. The gears each have a design on top that match they’re spot in the centre of the toy. When the gears are in place they will turn when the button is pressed. The gears are stackable too, and can be played with separate from the toy, which is what William does quite often. He likes to stack them and of course, put them in his mouth, paci style :)
Playskool always comes up with some amazing toys. I remember when Benjamin was little we had the Playskool Busy Ball Popper.
This thing kept him busy forever. He’d laugh and giggle at the balls flying out of the top! And when was a little bit older him and Daddy found out that you could also pop confetti out of it as well. I think the new ball popper will be at the top of Williams Christmas wish list this year. I’m sure he’ll love it just as much as the Musical Gear Center. We’ll just have to hide the confetti!

My granddaughter would love to play with the Playskool Explore ‘N Grow Activity Tower.
I love the Music and Lights Play Mat. It would be a wonderful gift for my soon to be born granddaughter. My two other grandchildren had these, and it really does help them to develop eye-hand coordination and is a nice safe place to place them while at the same time letting them explore!
