This past week has been Hot Hot Hot! Humid, muggy, damp. You name it, and well…it’s soaked. This is the kind of weather that is unbearable for babies. They can’t cool themselves off and completly rely on their caregiver to keep them cool. It’s no easy task. So many tell me not to put clothes on William. Let him relax in just his diaper, but I don’t like doing that. For one, a light cotton top will absorbe some of the sweat, cooling him off, number two…diapers are ugly.
I know, diapers are there for necessity and not for looks, but I like my little man to be looking his best, even in the heat of summer! There’s nothing wrong with a little style!
Enter playpants. The answer to my need for style. I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to try a pair of the Canadian Made Bloomers out on my little guy. We found a way to cover up that not so pretty diaper with the “lawn” style bloomer. I’m a green nut and Willy looks so good in it that I was automatically drawn to it.
As soon as I received it, it was on his bum, and in the two weeks we’ve had it, he’s probably worn it at least half of those days. So far it hasn’t faded in the laundry, or in the salt water of our public pool. That’s another great time for playpants…they make great swimming pants for baby!
Let me tell you, if you have a little girl, you will get lost on their website! Frills and stripes…Sooo Cute! If I had a girl I think I would have a pair for every day of the week…actually, I kinda wish I had more for William…I may have to spend some time shopping myself!
