Baby Dayz – Babibu – (contest closed)

William is a rough and tough kinda boy.  He has to be.  He’s the younger brother of a very exciteable 5 year old.  Already he’s crawling over toys, getting the trademark bumps and bruises that seem to come along with raising boys.  At 7 months old his personality is coming out strong.  He knows what he wants, and he’ll crawl over any toy to get it.

One thing I’ve learned about William is that he enjoys comfort.  He doesn’t want to wear restrictive clothes.  Nothing tight.  No Jeans or pants with buttons.  He will turn cranky very quickly if made to wear anything that doesn’t give him  room to move, As he should!  Babies should always be comfy.

That is where Babibu comes in.  Last week I recieved a sleeper from Babibu.  As soon as I opened it I was awe struck.  It is so soft….too soft for words to describe actually.  I took it to work with me, and littlerally ran around to everyone saying, “Feel this!  Isn’t soft??”  It was a huge hit there as well.  Many saying they’ve never felt anything quite so soft.

There are a number of reasons why I’m such a fan.  First and formost, It’s a Canadian company, and all the products are handmade by Mom.  Supporting other mom’s in their entrapanural endevours is something I take pride in doing.  And I’m thrilled to have been able to connect with Sarah, owner of Babibu.  I’m also a huge fan of Eco-Friendly products.  And Bamboo has so many great qualities that it has become my new favorite fabric!  Not only is it sustainable, but it’s also great for regulating body temperature.  It keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

William Wearing Babibu

I love this outfit as much as William does.  He wore it on our recent outing to DQ, where we played on the playground and he discoverd pine cones.  He was able to crawl around with no restrictions, and even enjoyed the swings for the first time.

The sleeper is just a bit big for William.  It’s the 12 – 18 month size.  Wil is a very big 7 month old, and I like his clothes to be just a bit big on him.  Not only does it allow him room to move, but room to grow!  Don’t let me mislead you though.  Their sizing is quite accurate.  William is the size of some 18 month olds.  At a whopping 22lbs!
