Oh, Spring…How I love thee – and a giveaway (closed)

Spring has finally sprung and with it comes our need to rearrange, clean, and organize our homes.  One thing I always crave is new furniture.  As Mother Nature gets her fresh start outside, I want to do the same inside.  Cleaning out closets, changing the pictures on the walls, and something new to brighten up the house, and let it have it’s new start.

With two kids in toe, it’s hard to spend the time in the stores, looking for that great new piece of furniture.  My time is limited to say the least – and store hours don’t work well with my schedule, free time only available after 9pm.  So I like to shop online.  Sitting in my comfy chair, in my PJ’s.  Really, it’s the ONLY way to shop.

So, as I attempt my spring cleaning, organizing, and overall decluttering I found an online shop that has almost Everyathing I could possibly need for my home.  ATGStores has 400 stores containing everything from flooring to furniture, baby gear to toys.  I found a ton of things that I would LOVE to have.  But since I don’t have forever to write this post, I’ll only share a few things, and let you find your favorites on your own.

The first thing I found was a Deacon’s Bench.  My mom always had one, and still does.  I always loved the concept of furniture having more than one purpose.  There were many to chose from, but I fell in love with this one.

The Linon Home Decor Short Back Entryway Bench in Walnut.  I love it!  Found in the Home Furniture Showroom, this bench would look so good by my door.  And with two kids, it would serve as a great storage area for backpacks, shoes, and hats and mitts in the winter time.  At only $139.26 it’s completely affordable too.

My second great find was this Bookcase.  This is actually one piece of furniture that my house lacks.  I don’t have enough shelves for the HUNDREDS of books that we have, and I don’t want one of those cheap white ones from the department stores.  I want one with charector, and the look of this one would fit in our home very well.

The Yushan Mission Style Shelf Bookcase is sleek and attractive.  Perfect for pictures, books and just about anything else that should be shown off or displayed.  At only $118.00 it’s great for even the tightest of budgets!

The last thing I found is something that we desperately need in our house.  With William just starting to eat solids, a place for him to sit is a necessity. But, with tight living arrangements I’ve decided that a highchair is just not the thing for us.  I’ve been hunting for a booster chair that will attach to our kitchen chairs, saving floor space.

When I was going through the New Baby Supply shop, I found this Safety 1st Recline Grow Stage Feeding Booster Seat. Again multifunctional,  growing with William so I wont need to spend money on two or three different chairs as he gets older.  At $59.44 it is considerably less than most high chairs as well.
